In all these things

we are more than conquerors

through him who loved us.

Romans 8:37

DeHart Ministries/More Than Conquerors Through Christ Jesus is an Urban Missionary Ministry that is committed to reconciling the strengths of Alcoholics Anonymous with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We are Christian Twelve Step Recovery Consultants/Counselors specialiizing in chronic relapse.

We use the proven guidelines for a solid "A.A. Program" as a discipleship process for addicts and alcoholics, as well as for leaders who want to deepen their walk with the Lord.   The guidelines for a solid program are: consistent and frequent meeting attendance; the orderly working of the Twelve Steps under the individual direction of an experienced mentor who also provides daily accountability; and the understanding that the result of this work is the responsibility to take others through the process.

Our mission is to facilitate education and networking within diverse Christian Churches and Twelve Step Programs that we may all effectively attract and disciple those whom our Lord has called the least.

The ministry was founded in 2003 by Randy and Paige DeHart.  Both of the DeHarts are ordained ministers, licensed belief therapists through the Therapon Institute, and recovering alcoholic/addicts with over sixteen years of sobriety that was established in Alcoholics Anonymous.

We Offer:

  • Consultation for ministries that are willing to work together toward the imporvement of Christian Twelve Step Recovery as a whole.
  • Seminars and presentations regarding alcoholism and addiction education.
  • Motivational testimony concerning the transforming power of God’s amazing grace.

The ministry also provides Twelve Step accountability by mail to men and women in Texas prisons. Our hope is to strengthen this mail ministry through donations of Paige DeHart’s recovery memoir, Unmasked, into prisons and half-way houses.  Each donated book includes an offer to work the Steps through the mail with one of the DeHarts.
