The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.        James 5:16

Morning Prayer Lord, I offer myself to You – to build with me and to do with me as You will. Relieve me of the bondage of selfishness and self-centeredness, that I may better serve You. Keep me sober and sane today – in body and mind. Direct all my thoughts and especially divorce them from self-pitying, dishonest or self-seeking motives. Teach me to think of You until You are my only thought. Guide me throughout this day in thought, word and deed. Give me compassion for all who offend me – showing me that my sense of being offended is my own character flaw. Help me to see every situation as either a demonstration of love or a cry for help. Teach me, Jesus, to love and serve my enemies and save me from being angry. Remove my fear, precious King, and show me what You would have me be. Take all of me, Lord – the good and the bad – and remove all character defects that stand in the way of my usefulness to You and to those You would have me serve. Give me courage, Lord, to persevere through all of my difficulties, that overcoming them may bear witness to Your power, Your love and Your way of life. May I do Your will always!

Evening Reflection Search my heart, Lord. Show me where I was resentful, selfish, dishonest or afraid. Do I owe an apology? Have I kept something to myself that should be discussed with another person at once? Was I kind and loving toward all? What could I have done better? Was I thinking of myself most of the time or was I thinking of what I could do for others? Show me the truth, Lord, and forgive me for these sins. Show me the corrective measures that I must take. Thank You, Lord, for Your discipline and truth and save me from worry, remorse or morbid reflection, for that will diminish my usefulness to You and to others. Thank You, Lord, for the many blessings of this day. Please bring them to mind now and give me a continuous attitude of gratitude. Thank You, Lord, for sobriety and sanity that can only come from knowing You. Teach me to seek Your face and not Your hands for I belong to You. You alone are worthy of praise.

Covering Lord God, I pray this prayer through the power of the Holy Spirit, by the authority of the written word of God, and the victory of the shed blood of Jesus Christ that destroyed the work of Satan and triumphed over him. In the name of Jesus Christ, the Anointed One, I bind, rebuke and bring to no effect: All division, discord, disunity, disobedience, confusion and disorder; all rebellion, strife, anger, wrath, murder, hatred and violence; all criticism, condemnation, vain glory, envy, jealousy and gossip; all lying, hindering, retaliatory, deceiving and scheming spirits; all false teachings, counterfeit gifts,counterfeit manifestations, and counterfeit signs and wonders; all poverty, lack, want, fear of lack, sickness, disease and pain; all occult, witchcraft, harassing, obscene, fear and fear related spirits. I break all curses that have been placed against me. I break the power of negative words coming out of the mouths of people, including my own mouth. I break all generational curses and diseases. I break and render useless all prayers not inspired by the Holy Spirit. I break and render useless all psychic, soul force, witchcraft and counterfeit tongues that have been placed against me. I am free from all demonic forces for since the Son has set me free I am free indeed! In humble submission to God, I resist Satan and he flees from me in terror. No weapon formed against me shall prosper for I escape the snare of the enemy. I put on the whole armor of God; the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, feet fitted with readiness, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. I cover my armor with the beautiful humility of Jesus. My steps are ordered by the Lord as the Holy Spirit leads me into all truth. I discern between the righteous and the wicked, between those that serve God and those that serve Him not. I exercise my authority over Satan and all his demons and prayerfully lift to You the people that are influenced by them. I declare that Satan is under my feet and will remain there throughout this day. I plead the blood of Jesus over every area of my life: my thoughts, my emotions, my will, my family, my work, my home, my finances, and all that concerns me. I thank You for dispatching ministering angels to assist and protect us and to guard our nation and our planet. I am called, anointed and equipped to accomplish all that God has for me to do and I pray for the ministry that You, Lord, have called me to be a part of. I call in financial support so that we can do the work unhindered by lack. I call in the ministry of helps to assist in the work. I call in intercessors to at all times hold us up in prayer. I pray that all who are involved are perfectly united in our common understanding, opinions and judgments. We stand firm and united in spirit and purpose, working side by side, centering in on the gospel of Jesus Christ. We live in harmony and unity, sharing the same vision. We do nothing through strife or vain glory. We follow after righteousness, Godliness and humility. We bear the fruit of love, joy, and peace. We are ripe with patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. We draw near to God and He draws near to us. I rebuke any negative expectations. I forgive all people, including myself. I receive from the Lord for He is my Source and my Provider. I call forth divine appointments and open doors of opportunity. I claim God ordained and supernatural encounters, ministry appointments and positions. I declare it so in the name of Jesus! May the Lord perfect all that concerns me this day! Praise You, Jesus!

Affirmations of Identity in Christ I am a beloved child of the King. I am redeemed from the hand of the enemy, forgiven and saved by grace through faith. I am a justified, sanctified heir to eternal life. I am a new creation and a partaker of His divine nature. I am redeemed from the curse of the law and delivered from the powers of darkness. I am led by the Spirit of God, kept in safety wherever I go and getting all my needs met by Jesus. I am an heir of God and a joint heir with Jesus, strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. I am casting all my cares on Jesus and can do all things through Him who gives me strength. I am observing and doing the Lord’s commandments, not moved by what I see, but walking by faith and not by sight. I am establishing God’s word here on earth, exercising my authority over the enemy and casting down all vain imaginations. I am a laborer together with God, daily overcoming the devil and being transformed by the renewing of my mind. I am bringing every thought into captivity, an overcomer by the blood of the lamb and the word of my testimony. I am blessed with all spiritual blessings for He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world. I am blessed coming in and blessed going out, above only and not beneath, healed by the stripes of Jesus. I am blessing the Lord at all times and continually praising Him. I am the light of the world and the salt of the earth, an instrument of Jesus, the righteousness of God in Christ. I am more than a conqueror through Him that loves me, convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything in all creation will be able to separate me from the love of God that is in my Lord, Christ Jesus. All honor and glory and worship and praise forever, to You, my King, my Lord, my Savior, my Friend.
